Como en Casa is one of the most ambitious South American projects in Utah: several cooks working Ecuadorian, Venezuelan, Colombian, and Peruvian food at the same time. One table might hold an encebollado (tuna and onion soup), a bandeja paisa, some arepas, and a lomo saltado. Breakfast is a serious meal here too, with bollos, empanadas, and coffee done the way each country does it. The room is lively and serves as a meeting point for several of the valley’s Latino communities.
