The Culture Behind the Flavor
A fixed downtown taco stand near the Gateway that runs a weekday morning-to-midday schedule and moves fast. Tacos come on doubled corn tortillas with cilantro and onion, and the al pastor and asada are what regulars order by the handful. There is no dining room, so most people eat standing at the counter or carry a foil bundle back to the office. It is one of the few genuinely street-style taco options right in the center of the city.
