The menu reads Mexican, but the Salvadoran pupusas are what regulars drive across town for, griddled to order and served with curtido and thin tomato salsa. Everything else holds up too: chiles rellenos, tacos al pastor, a smothered burrito that arrives under a blanket of sauce. The room is bright and muraled, service is unhurried, and the strawberry agua fresca is worth adding. Closed Sundays; Monday is a short day.
