The Culture Behind the Flavor
A small Salvadoran kitchen where the pupusas are hand-patted to order and come out thick, blistered, and stuffed with loroco and cheese or the classic revuelta. Curtido and a thin tomato salsa arrive alongside, and you should use both generously. Past the pupusas, look for tamales wrapped in banana leaf, fried yuca with chicharrón, and plantains with cream. Family-run, cash-friendly, and closed Mondays.
