The Culture Behind the Flavor
Open since 1994 and still small, just a handful of tables across from the Sunset Boulevard theaters, which makes it a sensible pre-movie stop. The chiles rellenos are what regulars order, and the chilaquiles con huevos are worth a weekday lunch. Beans get consistent praise, the rice less so. Parking is free and easy, the room is wheelchair accessible, and Sundays are closed.
