The Culture Behind the Flavor
Guadalajara-style cooking in a small San Juan County town, and the best reason to stop in Monticello rather than push on to Blanding. Everything is made in house, and the enchiladas, birria and the house salsas show it. There is a bar, which is not a given in this part of the state. Closed Sundays; open eleven to nine Monday through Saturday, with street parking out front.
