The Culture Behind the Flavor
You will spot the Frida Kahlo mural on the facade before you find the door. Inside, the cases are packed with pan dulce – conchas the size of a hand, cuernos, empanadas de piña – and the ovens have been running since five in the morning. There is also a small hot counter serving tacos al vapor, esquites, and tostilocos for an afternoon snack. Closed Tuesdays, so check before you drive over.
