The Culture Behind the Flavor
Half Central American grocery, half kitchen, and worth visiting for both. The Guatemalan side of the menu is the reason to come: pepian, chuchitos and plantains done properly, plus Mexican standards for anyone in the group who wants a burrito. Shelves up front carry masa, chiles and imported pantry goods you will not find at a chain market. Counter service, plain tables, open seven days from eleven to nine.
